Parents can share the log-in credentials for the MySchools account, but we are unable to add more users to a child’s account. Unlike the NYSCA account, which can be linked to multiple caregivers, a student’s MySchools account is linked to ONE caregiver log-in, which is set by default as the primary caregiver on file in the ATS system. Each student is linked to exactly one MySchools account. You will be able to “favorite” schools and add them to your application once the application period opens later in the month. As of right now, you can add your child to your MySchools account, and look up schools in MySchools, and read about them. The Welcome Letter contains instructions for how to set up your MySchools Account OR add your fifth grader to your MySchools Account, if you already have an account. A copy of the welcome letter will also be mailed home by the Central DOE office. ![]() This letter contains information for setting up the MySchools account, which will be used for your child’s middle school application.
